I recently stayed in a hotel for a city break and it was a real surprise! The rooms had lots of space, more than I expected, with a comfortable seating area and a beautiful view. They even offer free soup, tea, and cotton candy, which was a lovely extra. The price was very affordable in comparison to others and the hotel was always clean. The receptionists were very friendly and made us feel very welcome.
Although the hotel was well-maintained, it was a bit dated in terms of decor. It was also a bit of a distance from the train station, which might be inconvenient for some travelers.

The hotel's location was quite convenient as it was not too far from the city center. We also appreciated the free soup, coffee, and tea that were available in the evenings. the friendly receptionist was a breath of fresh air as they were very hospitable and accommodating to our needs.
The overall experience at the hotel was not satisfactory. the design of the property felt quite old and shabby, and it seemed like it could use some updating.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The rooms were unexpectedly spacious and had a wonderful sitting area. Rare find in Japan. The view from our room was absolutely beautiful. The hotel also provided a variety of free goodies at the front desk, such as special tea and hot soup. The staff was very friendly and hospitable, even offering free coffee and occasionally cotton candy in the evenings. The hotel is conveniently located just a 30-minute drive from a popular hot spring, Zao Onsen.
Nothing, all excellent.

The property design is slightly dated, but well-maintained.
